i bought a sports bra looking one that i'll wear the whole time. i also brought another one.
they sell them at Walmart 3 for $15 in Canada so i'm sure they have then in the states too. spagetti straps so it'll be easy to nurse and then i'll be covered and comfy.
i am planning on it unless for whatever reason they tell me i cant.
i bought two sports type ones from target that are super stretchy and comfy - because i HATE wearing bras lol (eta: just clarifying that i never go w/o in public, just around the house if im alone or with DH;)
I did. I had to change at one point b/c I was in a tub and it got wet, but I've been wearing a bra practically 24/7 since getting pregnant with ds 3 years ago (pregnant, nursing, pregnant, etc...) so I'm much more comfortable with one on!

I"m planning to wear a medela sleep nursing bra...I"ve been wearing it for about 2 weeks now bc it is more comfortable than my regular bra and I hate not wearing a bra...I always have!
With these huge preggo boobs (32G!) I will absolutely be wearing a bra! I'm going to pack along a sports bra, and a nursing bra or two.
A little off-topic, but at childbirth class, in one of the videos a woman was wearing a skirt during labor. I thought that was genius! It was knee-length, and she wore it with a sports bra, so no hospital gown. It looked like hospital gown / pillowcase material - I wonder if it's something her hospital had, or if she brought it with her?
We usually have patients take them off. If it has wires you can't have it on during a c/s and its kinda hard to get it off once your IV is started. Also if you plan on breastfeeding they will most likely have you do skin to skin with baby prior to bathing him/her so you will just ruin a bra with nasty gunk. If my patients insist on leaving their bra on, of course that's fine. They can't really MAKE you take it off (unless you're having a c/s...).

This exactly. I don't plan on BF-ing but I want skin-to-skin contact with LO, which would be impossible with a bra. And taking off a bra with that damn needle in your hand will be impossible. I'm a 32B and haven't grown a centimeter this whole pregnancy so that contributes to my comfort and ease of letting the girls be free. I'm bringing with one regular bra and my nursing bra for coverage/support afterwards, though.
Re: Bra during labor?
hehe, I was thinking the exact same thing this morning! I hate the feeling of them flopping all over the place
This morning I asked DH what he thought... he just rolled his eyes and walked away (I'm "annoying" today).

Same here I had two sports bras and they made me take them off when I got my epi.
