NBR - Are you planting anything this year?

Sorry to be such a PW, LO is sleeping in today so I'm getting a chance to play online.

We usually plant a few herbs, but I think this year I want to do a vegetable or 2. Maybe tomatoes and pole beans... not sure.

Definitely rosemary, basil, chives, cilantro, and flat leaf parsley.

i just decided yesterday i want to go gardening ape sh*t this summer. tomatoes, squash, strawberries, maybe a tree or two but lots and lots of flowers! sunflowers, daisies, tulips ahh i can't wait for it to get warm!!! 

i inherited my grandmother's house and I want to make the backyard as pretty as she use to have it ) there's even a koi pond that I might fix up with a bridge over it )

I do not have a green thumb at ALL but I miiight attempt a few veggies this year.  I'm thinking of just playing it safe with tomatoes and peppers because I know those are easier to grow and can do okay in pots.  wish me luck lol

DH and I were talking about redoing our flower bed. We have huge plants that the previous owners planted. We want to trim those down and plant some flowers.

Yes.  We always do.  We're scaling back a bit this year, though.  Mainly just peas, carrots, beans, squash, tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, cukes, spinach, lettuce, radishes.... nothing difficult.

Then again, for us, scaling back is still more ambitious than most people.  But we have the space for it.

Be careful with the mint!  It can easily take over any plot.  I only put mint in a pot.

I always do herbs and usually tomatoes, peppers and some flowers in front. I may try to add in some more veggies this year.
