I am currently doing some research for an OB for my growing LO. If anyone has used Northside Hospital, can you rec your dr? What was your experience like?
i had a great experience with the female doctors of Georgia OBGYN, specifically dr. leader and dr. zimmerman ....i had an easy induction and delivery with my baby, my dr had an emergency c-section and i progressed faster than expected and ended up having the midwife deliver me who was wonderful....i am considering seeing a midwife next time, too.
locations at northside, old milton pkway/alpharetta, and northside forsyth/cumming

This is the practice I go to as well...did Renee deliver you? Just curious if you knew she moved away a few months ago. There is a new midwife, but since I don't have any history with her, and I live so far from Atlanta I have decided not to go that route this time (Renee delivered both of my boys). I'm staying in Forsyth and Dr. Allen is on call for my induction...but Dr. Leader is my primary OB, love her!!
I had both my sons with Atlanta Women Specialists. I love Dr. Angus, Dawson and Jeffers. Dr. Johnson did both my c/s through and she did a great job. I went to them b/c several of friends go there too.
Northside Womens Specialist are great! I can't say enough good things about them. They have nurse midwives on staff if you are looking for that, but they also have great doctors. And they are partners with a high risk specialist in the same building on the same floor. https://www.nws-obgyn.com/
UGA bride: yes, i am so sad that Renee left!! A friend just had the new midwife deliver her, barbara is here name i think- as we very happy with her.
the northside forsyth rooms and bathroom are incredible!!!! another friend just delivered there in february and had the most wonderful experience!! you're going to be so happy there!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE AWS. I'm seeing Dr.Dawson now and absolutely love him. I really like the other docs on staff as well.
