Ergo baby carrier?

I want to get an Ergo, but not sure which one - the sport or the original.  I like that the sport is a lighter weight fabric, which would be nice during our humid summers.  But it looks like the original has a zippered pocket where I could put keys and other small items.  But is the fabric too hot for our summers?  Any thoughts about which one might work best?

we have the ergo sport and love it!  I have nothing but good things to say about it!

I have the regular one and really like it...that being siad I have never used the sport so I don' t know the difference first hand, I know it is supposed to be lighter.  I like it even better now that DS can be worn on my back.  I'm not going to lie, it does get warm when you have an extra body attached to you, I dont know what a difference the sport one would be....

I have the regular and it's great too!  We used it all summer last year, and it did get warm, but that may also have been b/c it was crazy hot...I only used it very early in the morning for walks to get me and both kids out of the house for awhile. 

I have never used the zippered pocket, and I think it may be a little too tight to put anything in it.

If the sport had been available on babysteals last year, I may have ended up with it instead of the regular.  I would highly recommend stalking babysteals for awhile--you can get a sport or regular for $60 when they are offered.  

ETA:  Babysteals has some of the pink flowered regular ergo's in their archives for $60.50.  I have the pink one, I think it's ugly, but it does the job.

I've never used an Ergo, so I can't 100% compare it to what I have - which is the Lillebaby carrier.  But when I was researching them two years ago, the main difference is that you can do forward-facing on the Lillebaby but not the Ergo.  Since DD only tolerated the Bjorn if forward-facing, that was a must-have feature for me when preparing for DS.  Just throwing it out there as a similar product with one extra feature.

i have the regular one; we haven't had any trouble with it during the d.c. summers.  and like pp said, i've never used the pocket.  we do use the hood though.

We have the regular Ergo and I love it! I have no basis for comparison though. It does get warm during the summer. I've used the zippered pocket to store my keys, wallet, and M's paci when we're out, so it's definitely useful.
