I had my 20 week appt. today and was hoping the doctor would schedule my ultrasound. NOPE, he wants to wait until after my April appt. to schedule. I will be 25 1/2 weeks at my next appt. I guess 4 1/2 weeks isn't TOO long to wait. Anyone else having to wait this long?

I would have thought you would have an ultrasound around your 20th week. I'm sorry you have to wait even longer Did your doctor say why he wants to wait so long?

Hang in there. Your ultrasound will be here before you know it!

I know right. I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks with DS. The doctor just wants the organs to be bigger.

Why?? Is he legally blind? I thought that's why we had to wait til around 20 weeks for the A/S! lol We had ours at 20w4d and our little guy's organs were really easy to find and very visible...I wonder why your doc would need them to be a whole extra month bigger???

Maybe because I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and everything looked great. Doesn't really bother me, it's everyone else who is just dying to know boy or girl. Of course I can't wait to know either.. I always just look forward to hearing the heartbeat at each appt.!
