Update on My CD Speech

I gave my speech on cloth diapers versus disposables in my public speaking class this morning.  Before class, I told a student what I would be speaking on and she got really grossed out by the idea of cloth.  After my speech, that student came up to me and said that I just might have convinced her that cloth is by far the better option!

Excellent! I applaud your efforts. I don't think I would have even thought of that as a topic considering when I was in college giving speeches no one had children to diaper.

My sister is currently in law school and apparently she is getting a lot of resistance to cloth diapering other than from my mom and me. I will suggest this idea to her if she has to give any speeches. Otherwise I think her "smart" friends need to gain some CD knowledge!

I also gave one recently at work!  We did a 2 day workshop on presentation skills and had to do a 5 min talk on something unrelated to work.  There were all women and tons of moms in the group, some with CD + and - experiences themselves.
