Given a hard time with Happy Baby Coupon

The Target by me doesn't carry a ton of the stuff and the Stop and Shop doesn't carry any of it even though it said on their website that they do. And the cashier at Target gave me a hard time. I split the order with my mom and got 11 items. The girl didn't want to get in trouble and had to call a manager for permission. I felt like I was doing something wrong. Anyone else have an issue? I was going to make another trip tomorrow but now I am thinking of passing up on anymore free Happy baby stuff.

I haven't had an issue because I haven't tried them yet. I'm speaking as a crazy coupon mommy!  I wanted to tell you that you should never feel guilty or like you're doing something wrong by using a coupon.

Many stores now have policies in place regarding coupon usage- if the clerk is uncertain, they should call a manager. If they take a coupon that the store won't honor, they get in trouble.

If a clerk refuses your coupon and doesn't have a good explaination about why, ask to see a manager. Ask the manager to explain the policy and why your coupon is being denied. Even if it's a $.10 coupon, it's money that you're trying to save.

I say, go back tomorrow! Buy more!

You weren't doing anything wrong unless you had 100 HB coupons and you cleared their selves. I had no problem at my Target today and I used 4 coupons. Actually, the cashier questioned my free Aveeno product and it had a foil mark and face value!  I thought that was pretty funny.    Print out their coupon policy and go back.  Good luck!
