Just came back from NST & Growth U/S

I posted on Monday that I now have to go in twice a week for NST and once a week growth ultrasounds. Today was my first one, both the NST and growth u/s. Fluid is good, but baby is now breech(but plenty of time for him to turn). My doc did say I am now considered high risk, and I now have the lovely bright red sticker on my chart that says high risk. NST was pretty straight forward. Hooked me up to the monitors and I sat there for about 20 minutes. Although I now know I need to invest in a good book!

As long as the fluid stays above a 5(it was 11 today) then everything is fine. But if it drops down below 5 she said they would deliver right away. Luckily they don't see that happening though!

I think I am going to become best friends with all the girls in the office though!

I have to start those soon as well. I did them with my last pg. They have a tv in the room for NST so that helps but I think I will be bringing my copy of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding so I can refresh

because the OB has reasons for wanting to keep an eye on the baby...I have to go in weekly for NST because I wasn't feeling her much and we couldn't know if it was just her or if it was cause of the anterior placenta.  i went to the first NST on monday and it was nice to see that even though i couldn't feel all of the kicks, the machine was picking them up...and of course just to make me feel like a liar, she's been a lot more active ever since!
