I went in for my second beta this morning and they were supposed to call this afternoon...well they didn't. DH is livid and wants to page the on-call physician...lol. I told him no way in hell were we going to do that. He never get's worked up, ever. I figure a 'no call' means all is ok and I'll call first thing in the morning to get the specifics. Or am I being too easy going?
Like pp have said, them not calling most likely means that all is good. Your first beta was so strong. It probably was just an oversight (a really sh*tty one IMO) that you weren't called. I give you mad props for not calling them before they left for the day. I wouldn't have been that strong. But also like pp have said, being easy going in such situations is definitely a good thing. Helps make the stress that much more bearable. Hang in there! Looking forward to hearing the good news tomorrow!

They called....yay! Super apologetic which was nice. My number rose to 607, ultrasound in two weeks. WOW
Congrats!
Little Man (4 years old---holy cow) He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
Re: They didn't call...argh
I would have called before they closed.
However, there's nothing wrong in being easy going.
How annoying!
But laid back is good. You had solid first round betas, so there's no reason to think that your second round is anything but awesome.
Good luck sleeping, though
