To be honest today was a rough day. We had the NT scan and got the bloodwork results which showed an elevated risk of chromosomal abnormalities. We will hopefully not have to wait long for the cvs results.
I'm jumping in on this one too. Pixie, I have been praying for you and your baby all day. I can't imagine how worried you are. Know that so many people are holding you and your baby in their hearts and praying for the best. Please keep us posted. Hang in there momma {{{HUGS}}}
Oh Pixie... I am so sorry for your stress. Have you had your CVS yet? How long for results? I will be doing a CVS as well due to our history. I understand your fears! I pray all works out perfectly and this is just another bump in the road. HUGS.
DS #1 born 11/23/06 - our IVF miracle!
Missing our sweet baby who was spontaneously conceived. 20 week loss on 6/24/10.
DS #2 born 10/22/11 at 38w1d after FET #1. Life is GOOD!!!!!
Pixie, I am truly sorry you are going through this. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
It's so hard, but try to remember that likelihood =/= definitive. I know you have had you own experience with this already and it's so hard not to go to that place, but I had bloodwork come back with breathtakingly high odds of Down, and DS was fine. Hang in there, I am so pulling for you!

Thanks everyone. I've spent most of today trying to read posts on other websites from people who have been through this (absent nasal bone was the issue) to keep me calm. I know our odds aren't terrible but we have a hard time believing we will come out on the good side of them this time. It doesn't take much to shoot my anxiety level through the roof so I can say that I am really glad we did the cvs yesterday.
I'm sorry that you are having to deal with this. You and your LO are in my thoughts. I really hope everything turns out just fine and I hope that you get your results back soon.
