Broke blood vessels in my eyes - anyone else?

Hi Ladies!

 I ended up breaking blood vessels in my eyes while pushing....anyone else had that happen too? My right eye doesn't look too bad ( the broken vessels are under my eyelids), but my left eye looks scary!!! I didn't even know I broke them until hours after delivery when I went to the bathroom....lol what a horror shot!

    Both eyes!  I also had swelling around my eyes.  It looked like I got into a fight.  The first two nights I slept with a cold wet rag over my eyes.  I hate all the pictures taken in her first week of life of me because my eyes look awful!  ....I might photoshop...

    It didn't happen to me, but I was really nervous that it would, especially after I threw up while pushing! (pretty much every time I toss my cookies, blood vessels pop!)

     

    It'll go away after a while.I am sorry it happened to you! 

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    I broke blood vessels in both eyes, as well as all over my face. I looked like a pimply 15 year old for about a week until everything faded on my face.

    My eyes were all swollen too...LOL I couldn't believe how puffy my face got. I keep forgetting my eyes look bad, and I catch glimpses in the mirror and scare myself...
