How are y'all going to get back into shape after you deliver? So far my weight gain has been healthy and on-track, but because of my short frame I look as though I've gained far more! Until my baby is big enough to sit in the jogging stroller, I plan on taking her for walks, doing some Zumba dvd's, and maybe surfing once a week once the Dr gives me the "ok" on excercise! I can't wait to see my shape again.
What are your plans?
Re: Body after baby?
I plan to enjoy life while BFing knocks the weight off. Once I plateau I will go back on WW to lose whatever else I want to lose.
With DS I gained 33lbs, by my 6 week check up I had lost 45 and I was eating a TON. BFing is a great "work out" plan

Until I am healed enough and ready to really work out, I will do yoga, lift light weights, take the baby for walks, and try to eat really well/breastfeed.
When I get the okay, I'm going back to my cycling. I was doing around 75 miles a week before I got pregnant and was in the best shape of my life. And since it's garden season, I always get a great workout working/digging in the yard.
I'll be heading back to the gym and running trail. Heavy lifting, moderate-hard cardio on the machines, and some nice, long runs on the trail. Honestly, I can't wait. Once I regain some endurance, I'll head back to the pool for masters prac. as well.
Hopefully this heartburn will disappear in the process and I won't need the cooling relief of ice cream nearly so much, either.
Ditto on that! I have already dropped 15 of the 25 lbs I gained, breastfeeding plus housework plus running after my almost 2 year old should be all of the "workout" I need!

Someone's getting a little brother!
I plan to BF and walk a lot as well as swim/water aerobics at my ILs pool this summer.
One of the biggest things for me will be getting back in to an eating plan that I can live with and once I'm cleared for exercise, adding pilates and weights to walking and swimming.
This is exactly what I plan on doing while I am on maternity leave for 12 weeks. As soon as my doctor clears me, I'll be doing this around my block with LO & the dog.
