Car seats

Hello!  I'm sure I'm asking something that's been asked time and time again, but I'm wondering which types of car seats to purchase.  My MIL purchased us the Graco double stroller in Lowery, so I'm considering the Snugrides to match.  However, I've seen positives and negatives.

What kind of car seat do you have?  TIA!

Re: Car seats

  • I've done snugrides with all three of mine and been more than pleased.  Once they reach 15 lbs, you'll be begging to get rid of them because they are so heavy.  Go with the regular snugrides.  : )

  • We have Graco Snugride 32s. My only suggestion is whatever you pick, make sure the harness straps are adjustable from the front of the seat. We purchased a Duoglider in the Melbourne pattern but the matching car seats got terrible reviews (could only adjust the harness straps from the back of the seat). For that reason we just opted for the 32s and a DSNG - double snap n go stroller. We use the Duoglider now that they're a little bigger. They'll be in convertible seats soon anyway. Good luck!

I just learned yesterday that some of the new Snugrides have this adjustment.  I would NEVER get a carseat without a front-accessible adjustment.  But I agree to get the Snugrides that have one - we loved our snugrides.

  • I love our Graco SafeSeats. They work well with the duo glider and can stay rear facing until 30 pounds.
