Maternity Pictures

Can anyone recommend a cheap place where I can get some nice maternity picture.  I'm just looking for the best value for my buck.  I have something scheduled with an awesome photographer but I think it is going to cost me a lot more that I want to spend on maternity pics.  i rather save the money for newborn pictures.

I had mine made at Portrait Innovations - they are nationwide I believe and have a good package for $10.00. Granted, we spent more for extra poses but it was rather reasonable and our pics came out nice.

Any of the Target, JCPenny, Sears, etc studios usually have coupons or specials if you want something really reasonable. We had ones done with DS at Kiddie Kandids in BRU and they came out great - and printed them right there.

JCPenny's portrait studio does pretty good photos for a cheap price.  You want to sign up for the portrait club ($39.99 for two years) and you get ou free sitting fees and tons of coupons.  They take about 80 pictures and you can buy all/some/none depending on what you think of them. 

Usually you can get a coupon for $3.99 a sheet (8X10 or 2 5X7s or sheet of wallets, etc). 

My BF does this for her LO's pictures (once a month!) and if she doesn't like any of the pictures, she doesn't buy anything. Most months she only buys 1 sheet for $4.

I did JCPenney because I just wanted some memories for my family, I don't want to really share the pics with anyone.  I printed out a bunch of poses I liked with just the mom and both mom and dad poses and brought them in.  It was very fast (30 min) but the photographers were supernice and recreated all the poses, I don't know how creative they would have been if I had come in with nothing.  I printed out the $3.99/page coupon plus free sitting so we ended up picking out 11 pics we wanted in 8x10 size and it was $45 total.  Can't beat that!  And then I just scanned in the 8x10's myself to resize and print on my photo printer if I wanted different sizes. They did turn out pretty nice, actually.
