I was at BRU last night and found that all of the Earth's Best stage 1&2 single jarred foods were on sale 20 for $10 - you have to buy 20 to get the special price (half off), but if you're anything like us, that won't be a problem. I stocked up last night and saved over $30! I didn't recall seeing this in the ad, so I thought I'd share.

Re: PSA: Earth's Best baby food on sale at BRU
Yeah, I feel ya! Being a chef I had grand plans of making all their foods, but their palettes proved to be a bit finer than I intended.

Don't give up necessarily if you want to make their food.
My kitchen was under renovation when we started solids, so I used Earth's Best. When it was completed and started making homemade, the girls refused it. Their favorites like sweet poatoes and squash too!
So I bought some Earth's Best, but kept trying and trying the homemade stuff with them and after a couple of weeks they were fine.
One thing that I found was big money saver is buying the all natural apple sauce. I get a 2# jar of it for under $2, and they don't notice a difference. Just check to make sure it's the all natural - it will only have apples, water, and citric acid (vitamin C) to keep it from turning brown. The 'regular' kind has corn syrup and all sorts of other junk in it.

Will do...it's esp my Son. He gags EVERYtime. Even made himself sick but as soon as I pulled out a jar of EB he ate it up. I'm starting to think he's taking us for a loop...silly kid.
I bought some last week when my "homemade apples" went to sh!t...they LOVE it!!!!
