I found out yesterday that we are having another girl! While, of course, I am just thrilled that she is healthy, I secretly confess that I am disappointed that it is not a boy. I really wanted my son to have a brother.
So I am trying to think of some positives about having only one boy and three girls.
So far I've got....
1. Tommy will end up in his own room.
2. Tommy will grow up sensitive and be a great boyfriend/husband one day.
3. I'll only have to deal with one daughter-in-law one day.
4. Tommy won't have to fight for Man-of-the-house when daddy's away.
5. Tommy will get some special male bonding with his daddy.
Can you think of any other points, no matter how silly they may be?
Re: Gimme some positive points!
Your girls will be lucky to have a big brother, and Tommy will become a great man after being a good big brother all those years!
At my wedding, in my husband's speech he said "Although I grew up an only child, I was truly never without a brother." It was so touching! Your son's friends will be his brothers. : ) And congrats on the new little girl!!!
I agree with all of your points!
MH is the only boy with 3 older sisters and I think they molded him into who is is today, a very caring and sensitive but strong man. He watched out for them even though they are older. He also understands women and all that comes along with them!
Good luck! He will be the best brother for your 3 girls!! And they will also teach him so many things about women that will help him become such a great man!
