In-Home (Theirs, not mine) Daycare in Warwick/Cranston/Providence/East Providence?

Anyone know of any good in-home family-run day care programs in these areas?  I'm finding a lot of info. about day-care centers online, but need personal recommendations to find "good" in-home child care options....

 Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Kristin

I'd love to compare notes to what you have found. I have only found information online, but not really recommendations at this point. I'd be interested to hear.

    Thanks!

  • Hi, Amy:

I've toured a bunch of day care centers in the area and I really like a few, but I'm kind of holding out and hoping to find a smaller in-home care provider.  Now I'm even thinking it'd be nice to have someone come into our house to watch the baby, since all of his stuff will be there.  I might end up joining care.com or sittercity.com to find someone, closer to September when I'll be going back to work (I'm due at the end of July).

What part of Warwick are you moving to?  We are near Hoxie/Four Corners by the airport.  It'd be awesome to do a "nanny-share" with another family!

For your reference, my favorite day care centers so far are Discovery Years in Warwick off Rt. 117 (Centerville Rd.), and Magic Years on Post Rd. in Warwick.
