Two Under 2

will I regret not having a side-by-side double stroller?

I have a Phil & Ted's Vibe double, and an Uppa Baby Vista single + baby bjorn or Ergo for when I want to push one and wear one.

We walk a LOT - groceries, walks to the park, walks for excercise, to my parents, etc.  DH doesn't want a side-by-side stroller because they're so wide and he thinks it'll be a pain since we live in a busy city.  Will I regret not having a side-by-side, or is the Phil & Ted's enough?

  • I've had my tandem for almost 4 years and don't regret it.

  • Well, my kids love the side by side I think especially since they both get a great view and they can also see each other. I think I would be Claustro in the back lol.  I live in a city too and I have a city mini. It doesn't feel big at all and is very easy to steer. I also have the uppababy single which I feel was a waste of money. Love my cheap umbrella stroller!

  • I love my SBS and LOATHE (hate, hate, hate) my tandem (UBV + rumble seat).  I keep trying to buy the BJCS but can't force myself to buy it.  I can't justify the expense when I'm not sure we'll need it.  I haven't found a single place I can't fit my SBS, besides Gymboree of course.  :)

  • We have a BJ City Select (which doesn't work that well for us, so we are trading it in for a P&T).  Before I tried the P&T I thought I wanted a side-by-side  But I've been borrowing a friend's P&T and I think it's the perfect compromise.  It pushes like a single and my older DD loves sitting in the back (I didn't think she would).
