New Here w/ a Question

Hi ladies.  I did some lurking before posting, but if I missed something & there's somewhere else I should look or post, please just point me in the right direction.

We have been TTC since July of 2009.  Late in 2010 we started seeing a RE and went through testing w/ a dx of unexplained IF.  We were waiting for insurance approval to move forward as well as planning a scope to check for endo due to regular cycle pain.  In January I had a surprise BFP followed by a m/c in March.  In this kind of situation any thoughts on whether I could go right back to the RE and pick up where we left off after the testing? Or would a pregnancy, no matter how short and sad, disqualify me and leave us on our own for another 12 months to get back to being defined as IF?

    Welcome!  I am so sorry for your loss!  You should be able to continue working with your RE and should not have to wait another 12 months.  Good luck to you!

    Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

    Welcome, and ditto Scooter. I had my mc before seeing an RE, and my insurance didn't count it as a successful pregnancy.

    Agreed....stay with your RE.  We had our consultation with our RE during a 2ww and little did we know that we were pregnant only to miscarry a few weeks later.  I was so worried that we'd have to "try on our own" for another year before we could move forward with RE, but we are now on our cycle evaluation with our RE.  GL to you!

    I would definitely contact your RE and go from there.

    You don't need to wait...at least with my RE there are no restrictions as far as how long you have been trying. GL!
    Married - 8/2009 Diagnosed right away as sub-fertile. PCOS for me and low motility, morphology for DH. On treatment of glucophage and supplements for PCOS. Completely OOP. 4 IUI's - clomid- all BFN's IVF #1- 13 fertilized, no frozens- BFN IVF #2- ER 2/21, 18 retrieved, 12 fertilized. ET 2/24 - 2 beauties. No frozens. BFN. IUI #5 using leftover meds- BFN Trying new meds for PCOS. SAIF & PAIF and prayers welcome! Entering the world of adoption. Choosing happiness and love and focusing on the blessings we do have instead of the things that we don't.
