We have it. I like the size (we have a small car and it fits well in the middle seat) and it seems to be quite comfortable for DD. I had some trouble pulling the straps tight at first, but I think they were twisted...so I had to pull the whole thing out and untwist the straps, and now it tightens fine. All in all, I like it.
I am pretty happy with mine. I too have a hard time with tightening the straps, my son is still rear facing though. I think when we turn it around and I can actually pull down on the strap, it will work out just fine.
Blessed with 2 amazing little boys. One grew in my tummy and the other my heart.

We have that and the Britax Marathon. Hands down the Marathon is way better. Like pp said, tightening the straps are a pain, I haven't quite figured out why. The quality of everything in the Britax is much better. The straps just feel more substantial and the fabric is nicer. Right now the Graco sits in the garage gathering dust because we just move the Britax to DH's car when we take that instead of dealing with the Graco. Also the latch straps on the Graco are kind of a pain. They are the pinch clasps so getting it out of my car is a big pain, I have to dig around and make sure they are pinched all the way to get it out, and they only tighten on one side. So if you install the seat behind the driver you have to reach over the whole seat to tighten it while pulling. The Britax latch are more like mini seat belt releases so you just push a button. They also tighten individually and are so easy to tighten.
If I were to do it again I would never have gotten the Graco.
I love our Graco. I know a PP compared it to a Britax, but honestly they're not comparable. The Britax is double the price. We have one from BRU and one from Target, I will say the straps are easire on the BRU one, maybe it's just a more quality fabric and they slide easier.
I think this carseat is comparable to the Evenflo Triumph (they're about the same price). The Evenflo tightens from the sides not the shoulders so everytime we had to tighten it you had to adjust the harness and it NEVER felt tight enough. The Graco rides up much higher giving DS a much better view, it also seems extremely comfortable. I love that the cup holders are molded in. A lot of people complain about the cupholders that have to be attached because once their children are older they can pull them off. I highly recommend the Graco.
I do agree the Britax is better, but if you want to pay that much more for a carseat then by all means do it. Although I was unimpressed by the Marathon (it only rear faces to 35 lbs) and it was hard for my little guy when he fell asleep because his head rolled side to side. The Graco is kinda cradled so if he falls asleep his head doesn't roll.
To my boys: I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew

I agree that all car seats are safe regardless of price. I just wanted to give some perspective about rear facing until 35 pounds. My 4 1/2 boy is 35 lbs and my daughter who is almost six is just under 40. My son is small, but my daughter is about average. The rear facing limit of 35 pounds is more than adequate for us.
I don't have one, but a friend does. She and her DD were in a wreck last week (everyone was okay) and the paramedics were very complimentary of how the carseat performed. My friend had some minor back strain, but her DD was perfectly normal.
