People should be ashamed of themselves... re: Amazon coupons

I went to Walmart to buy a Fit Pregnancy magazine just to get the $10 Amazon coupon code...  Someone had ripped all of the coupons out of the magazine.

Went to Target yesterday to buy the same magazine to get the $10 Amazon coupon code... Again, someone had ripped all of the coupons out of the magazine.

What makes people think this is OK?  That's why I'll never buy or trade codes on-line.  The person who is selling the code may not have gotten it in an ethical manner.

That is terrible.  Have these people never heard that taking something they haven't paid for is STEALING????

I know!  I had planned to buy several copies of the magazines... The magazine is $3.50, which is still very worth saving $10!!  I would have purchased the magazine... but NONE of the copies in either store had the coupon code cards!

That is awful. I would consider that stealing too. In the doctors office I can understand but not magazines at the store that someone is going to buy. Greedy!

Totally agree with this. In the Dr office I feel like I am paying for that magazine with as expensive as Dr are, ha! But stealing it from the store?? Really poeple??

At least they took the cards instead of just writing down the codes and letting you buy it anyway!  That would have been the worst.

This has happened to me a COUPLE times now.  I've bought the magazines, gotten them home and went to use the code and it says its already been redeemed.  

Now I'll only buy mags that are shrink wrapped (Fit Pregnancy) and bought subscriptions to magazines like Parents.

That's why I don't even bother buying the magazines!  If you have a Babies R Us or Baby Depot (Burlington Coat Factory), check the registry counter for the Baby Talk Magazine.  It is free and the Amazon coupon is inside.  I was in my Burlington Coat Factory and someone ripped all of the coupons out, but it is worth a shot!

while i do think that's crappy, going to buy a $4 magazine, for a $10 coupon seems like kind of a waste of time & energy to me...especially taking the time to go to diff stores just for the mag

I was already in the stores shopping for other things, no special trip required
