Love Gray.  We have talked about using it as a FN.  Not a fan of Madden.  If it's a family name you could use it as a MN.  Gray Madden.

aside from the Mad and Gray/ Mad in Gray thing,  Madden to me is a video game (thanks hubby!)

Madden = John, to me.

Gray/Grey I like in theory, but I don't know that I can get behind it as a name. It's not a name to me. It's more like a pretty sound people think they can get away with as a name. Which I guess is what names are, but it's NMS.
