if you FF and are on BCPs

How long after birth did you have to wait before going onto BCP? I plan to formula feed from the start so I'd like to go back on hormonal bcp asap [mostly because I haven't had sex since 16wks of pregnancy and I am more than ready to get back into that game, partially because I have terrible acne and bcp are the only thing that help]. I meant to ask my OB at my appointment today but it slipped my mind. I'll ask him at my appointment next week, but until then I'd like to have a general timeframe. Thanks ladies

I started the BCP two weeks pp.

My ob write me a script at my 6 week pp appointment and told me to begin taking it the Sunday after the first day of my period.

I got my prescription for BCP's at my 6 wk check up and FF from day 1. I don't know whether or not you can get them sooner, doesn't hurt to ask.

Oh, and as eager as you might be to get going with DH again, you really shouldn't have sex before your 6 week pp check up. Your uterus needs time to heal and introducing anything into your vagina could cause an infection.
