Ovaries during IVF

How uncomfortable do you feel with full ovaries during IVF cycle? I did 1 cycle of injectables with IUI and could hardly sleep by the end of it with only 3 dominant follicles.  I can't imagine what an IVF cycle will be like! Thoughts?

I was more uncomfortable with my IUIs than IVF 1+2 for some reason, #3 was more like my IUIs, and more uncomfortable since I stimmed longest on that protocol. I am not a massive producer, though. Good luck!

I get very uncomfortable during stimming.  IVF #1 I had 24 eggs and IVF #2 I had 19.  I was very aware of my ovaries both times. I developed OHSS  with IVF #1.  Be sure to drink plenty of fluids while stimming and keep yourself very hydrated.  I drank a lot of coconut water during IVF #2. I think it helped!

I am stimming right now.  I have been for 8 days and I am very aware of my ovaries.  They are uncomfortable and they didn't feel too great when I was taking a walk today.  That said, its not excruciating pain by any means - for me at least.  GL.

I had 31 eggs during IVF.  It wasn't too uncomfortable until the last 2-3 days.  Just mostly really bloated and I had a hard time taking deep breaths.  My RE had me stop drinking water incase of OHSS but instead drank a ton of gatorade and kept on a salty diet.

I don't have anything to offer about IVF, but I just finished an IUI with stims and I can totally relate to your pain.  I have a lot of follies though.  I'm still taking it real easy and drinking a lot of gatorade.  I wish I could offer better advice.

I feel your pain... or at least I will very soon!  I am heading in to my 1st IVF cycle and the ovarian pain is what I am most worried about.  During just my normal cycle I have a lot of ovarian pain... hurts to sit down to hard or walk to quickly.  The nurse told me those are signs to watch out for with OHHS.. so I am wondering if I will know the difference!   Did you have pain during your normal cycles prior to?

I have a lot of ovarian pain on normal cycles as well.  I was really worried about OHSS while stimming.  It turns out that I have a very mild case of it.  It really sucks.  The pain comes and goes a lot, and it's not excruciating, but just unbelievably uncomfortable like I can only sit certain ways etc.  Sleeping is the worst for me because it hurts me most when I'm flat so I'm basically sleeping sitting up.  It's starting to feel a bit better for me today (I hope I don't jinx myself).  Good luck!
