night time inserts, hemp?

talk to me about inserts, pls. we've been using bg 2.0/3.0's and knd's, stuffed with a cbos insert as our night time solution. ds pees his way out of it so now i double stuff with the cbos insert and a hemp prefold... this makes his diaper super bulky.

what's your thinnest night time solution for a heavy wetter? i've ordered a superdo to try out (combination microfiber + hemp).

We do a OS MF with a hemp babies little weeds. ?The hempbabies doesn't add much at all to the thickness. ?But really helps lock wetness in.

I don't neccessarily have a heavy wetter but this is what I've tried - baby kicks hemparoo, super-do, and blueberry inserts (all of which have hemp, the first is only hemp, the second two are combo microfiber/hemp). The hemparoo is the thinnest, I stick that in under a cotton babies one size microfiber and I wouldn't say it's all that bulky. The super-do is pretty thick to me, or I guess not neccessarily thicker but not as pliant so it seems like it doesn't flex as easily. The blueberry insert is great too but I probably wouldn't buy it except that it came with the diaper. So, I guess what I'm saying is, I prefer a seperate hemp insert underneath a microfiber.

I really like my baby kicks hemparoo inserts also.  I use them with a microfiber insert in my BG and it works for my younger dd.

With my older dd with do a goodmama with a fleece soaker.
