I like Pierson much better than Grady, but prefer just Pierce as the given name.
Not a fan of Elin, and I don't think Elle works as a nn for it. I love Annie, but seriously dislike Ansley or Annslie. There are plenty of nice names that could take the nn Annie, Anne being my first choice.
Re: Which do you prefer?
Grady and Elin. Yes, you could call Elin Ellie.
Pierson is nms and looks misspelled. Ansley reminds me of Ainsley which never fails to make me think of anus. Blech.

Pierson for a boy and Ansley for a girl
I like Elin for a girl.
I don't like Grady (Gray) or Pierson (Pierce) at all.
Pierce. and Elin.
I think Grady is just horrendous, and Pierson is blech.
Ansley sounds dumb, and on paper it just looks wrong.
Elle doesn't work as a nn imo, unless you pronounce it "ellen".
