No Ulcer!!!

OK, u ladies were right...i'm pretty tired and not even allowed to drive. 

I have a work dinner tonight, and i feel fine...but DH thinks i should just rest (i'm thinking it over, but I'm worried about abandoning my clients).

I do NOT have an ulcer.  They took several biopsies, to rule out an infection....but it is looking like an acute episode of reflux. 

Guess what can cause that???  Drumroll..............STRESS!  hummmm I wonder where i got that?  Could it be IF, or my mc, or my D&C, or my 2 cancelled cycles that they cancelled the day i should have started pills????

Oh and of course i forgot about my job, and the 6 inch stack of IF bills we have on the kitchen table....

    DH went to work after his, they told him not to drive but he, of course, did anyhow!

    Great news ! That stress will definitely do that to you though .

    I'm still sorry your IVF 2 was cancelled, but maybe the back up vacation you planned with DH is just what you need to destress a little so you're tip top for when IVF 2 happens !

    Glad it's nothing too serious, sweetie. Stress sucks. You have had an overflowing plate of it the past few weeks....it's no wonder your stomach is upset.

    Yay for no ulcer!  Rest up and see how you feel before dinner tonight.  I usually felt pretty good afterwards if I got some sleep.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    So glad it wasn't an ulcer!  But my goodness, you've had so much going on the last few months, of course you're stressed!  Hope your trip is just what you need to de-stress a bit!  Take care of yourself!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    IF is definitely stressful - thank goodness it's not an ulcer.
    TTC since 3/07. IVF#1 = canceled. IVF#2 = 0% fertilization. IVF#3 = BFN. IVF#4 = c/p.

    Hurray for no ulcer!! But the stress is still causing you physical pain and that is not good. Perhaps its time for a little get-away? Shopping spree? Endless amounts of wine?? Treat yourself-you deserve it!
