I'm nesting or preparing for my MIL to get in town. I was just looking around tonight and realized all that I still needed to clean. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight because I keep adding things to the list in my head.

Anyone else having relatives in town to see the LO? We recently moved 7 hours away from our entire families.

My family lives about two hours away but they're just going to make the drive back and forth except for my sister and her husband. We have a houseful of pets so they're coming to stay at our house while we're in the hospital. I'm still up at 12:30 because like you, I realized the guest room needed some cleaning before I go into labor.

My DH is determined to call it nesting just like the ONE time I wanted pizza was a pregnancy craving!

Do you have a lot of relatives coming in for the occasion?

My parents and ILs will be hanging out at our apartment waiting for us while I'm in labor.  We're okay with it because we have a cat and she needs some company!  I know I need to spend the next few days cleaning, though, because I don't want my mom and MIL to be doing it while there here.  Not that they would mind, but I don't want to think about the judging.  I can just picture the things that would be going through my mom's head.

I hear you. It would be one thing to hire someone to clean, another to have the moms doing it. I would hate for my mom to clean my house. I know she would "organize" to her liking.

My FIL, MIL and BIL (11 yrs old) are in town right now and hoping DD makes her appearance.  MIL will be staying around until after she does and watching DS for us.  FIL and BIL are going home this weekend and hope to see LO before they go, but she has her own timeline.
