Pampers Swaddlers by the case=suck?

Before committing to an entire case, I bought a two smaller packs of Pampers Swaddlers and totally bought into the hype. Loved the non-leakage, even with what would've been blowouts, and the completely ridiculous fact that they had that sweet babyish smell (the clean diapers themselves, not that the diapers magically transformed the smell of DD's poop).

Anyway, went to BRU to indulge in an entire case of my new favorite diaper, and I SWEAR the ones from the case are...Not. The. Same. DD peed out one yesterday and today's blowout was, well, a blowout. And they smell all chemical-ly. WTF?!

I've had no problems with Swaddlers. They seem to be the same across the board for me. You could always call the company and see if maybe there was a bad batch or something.

Now babydry diapers are another story altogether! Those really do suck.~A

Are you SURE you bought the same (and right) size?  We by the case and don't have any problems.  And I don't think they have a scent at all.

Sounds like he needs to go up a size.

I've bought cases and still love them.  No difference between cases and smaller packages.

Not sure about the scent though.  Ours always smell nice and baby like (baby powder smell)

I'd contact the company...maybe they'll do something for you...weird...

We used Swaddlers before we switched to cloth and never noticed any difference between the cases and the small packs. And ditto about contacting Pampers if you're not pleased; they had great CS when I called about an issue.

I go back and forth between cases and jumbo packs all the time (depending on sales, etc.), and I've never noticed a difference. They've always worked perfectly for me. I may be jinxing myself, but DS is 4 1/2 months old and I've never had one single blowout. With the exception of 5 days where I was using Baby Drys, I've been using Swaddlers the entire time.

I bought the cases of Pampers a couple times from Babies R Us and they were same.  Maybe you should take them back.

Kinda have the same problem. I have a case of 216 size 1 diapers that I don't want to use because DS pees out of them constantly. He weighs 10lbs 3oz so size shouldn't be the issue. I have never noticed a bad smell though.  But yeah, I agree with shwebb, they suck!

Definitely call and complain, I did and got a coupon for a free case!  I complained because of stuck tabs though.
