The only Kellens I know are girls. My SIL is named Kellen but has always gone by Kelly.

"And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one weak creature makes a void in any heart, so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of vast eternity can fill it up." - Charles Dickens
Re: DH came up with a girl name
I do like Kelly, Helen and Ellen though.
This name has so many reasons for being super trendy.
It is a boy's name that you are putting on a girl
It is an almost-rhyme with the never ending "Aidan"
It has a Twilight connection
It starts with a K--the letter everyone uses to seem different and cool
It has the "Elle" factor that everyone's looking for these days.
So I don't like it. At all. Not even a little bit. If it were on a boy I would dislike it. For a girl I absolutely despise it.

No, not really. It was just thrown out there and I'm not sure what I think about it.
