vascular cervix??

Anyone experience this?  I had cramping the other day and went to OB.  I started bleeding heavily during the speculum exam.  The twins look fine but he says my cervix is super vascular.

It's pretty normal to have some spotting or bleeding after an exam while you're pregnant, since there's so much extra blood flow in the pelvic area. "Friable" is another term for a cervix that bleeds easily. I never had frank bleeding, but would usually spot/cramp afterward.

i had this. At 12 weeks i started having brown spotting when i would go to work. I completely freaked out. Upon exam it was found i have a friable cervix. So any vigorious movment, sex, BM's, even coughing or sneezing could cause spotting. I bleed for about a week after the exam and still had some brown spotting episodes with activity. I was told its completely common with pregnancy esp. twins since we have even more blood flow.
