Acid Reflux

My DD spits up every so often. Sometimes it is a little bit and thick other times it's a lot and watery. She is gaining weight with out a problem and has wet and solid diapers. She hasn't been able to sleep in her bassinet because she starts grunting and crying.  Someone mention the possiblity of Acid Reflux. Should she be spitting up all the time if she had this?

That's one of the symptoms.  M spit up and he couldn't lay on his back without "swallowing" all the time.

Not necessarily.  She might even have it just come up in her throat and it's burning.  Our dd has reflux and the first 3 mos were awful.  She was gaining weight, but she would cry when she spit up.  She couldn't sleep for anything but we had no idea what was wrong.  There is a lot on-line about it.  Definitely keep an eye out for it because it can make your baby so miserable.
