Flax oil

Has anyone used flax oil in their baby's bottle for constipation?  I'm going to call pedi in the morning b/c DS seems constipated quite often but I wanted to see if anyone has used flax oil before.  DS is at sitter's house and she called to say he's been screaming for the last 2 hours and she thinks he's constipated.  We've used the old thermometer trick before and I gave him 1/2oz of prune juice with 1oz of water to dilute the other day.

I have never heard of this.  How is he fed?  Are you sure it's not gas?

Did the prune juice not help and thats why you want to try flax oil?  I would wait to talk to your ped's office before trying the flax oil (I haven't heard of this either).  However, have you tried to give your baby a tummy massage in circular motions (going clockwise).  I did once and it seemed to help.
