pediatric eye doctors

Annie's eyes keep doing this rolling thing when she is trying to focus. I have an appt with the pedi on Friday but I am betting $10 that she will need glasses. Does anyone know of an eye doctor that is good with itty bitty kids?

  • Katelyn sees Constance West at Childrens.  She is the director of the ophthalmology department there.  I really like her!

  • I don't have any suggestions, but wanted to wish you luck. Alex has to go to an ophthalmologist (Yang @ CCHMC) on Friday because his pedi is concerned about his left eye not tracking out to the corner.  Hope it's good news for both of us!

  • Susan Szmyd of Children's Eye Physicians, we go every 6 months because Henry like DS1 has a wide bridge but the bridge doesn't shape properly until he turns 3 so we go and get checked.  i think it will be the same with Serena.

    Ditto this recommendation.

  • We saw Dr. Robert North at Children's. Loved him and his staff. I have a lazy eye thing where I don't focus right so I was really worried she would have the same issues. They were great.
