Uhg! I cannot believe I am actually changing my mind on our girl name at the last minute like this. I really didn't think I would second guess our choice at all, and now I just can't picture "her" name being Hallie Mae.
I just posted this on the 3rd tri board, but wanted to get as many opinions as possible!
Here are the other possible names I like but don't love. Any suggestions would be great! Our last name is similar to Strickland.
Mae is my mothers and grandmothers middle name. Lynn is my fathers middle name.
Lila Mae
Amelia Lynn
Lorelei Rose (need middle name suggestions for this one)
Liana Mae
Juliana Mae
Aubrey Mae
Isla Mae (Husband and I honeymooned on the FL Key Islamorada)
Eden Marie
Eden Lynn
Eden Mae
Thanks!
Re: Not sure about our girl name anymore!
Amelia, Aubrey, or Juliana would be my top 3 choices from your list. Hailey is NMS but do you remember why you were originally drawn to the name?
Can always take your top few choices and decide when you "meet" her.

I still love Hallie Mae out of your choices. I just think your getting cold feet about naming her.
My next favorite is Isla Mae, I like the meaning
Lila Mae - pretty. Kind of country/Southern sounding, but that's not a bad thing.
Amelia Lynn - gorgeous, but Amelia is getting so popular. It's losing its appeal for me.
Lorelei Rose - LOVE. Absolutely lovely.
Juliana Mae - Fine. I don't like Juliana, but there's nothing wrong with the name itself.
Aubrey Mae - like. Pretty, if a little trendy.
Isla Mae - lovely, except that Isla's popularity is skyrocketing. Also, your child does not want to be named for the place you had copious amounts of sex. Just saying. Stand in her shoes for a second.
Eden Marie, Lynn, Mae - I love Eden. Marie is kind of overused. Either Lynn or Mae works fine, though I prefer Mae.
My favorites: Lorelei and Eden.
It is actually Hallie, pronounced like Halle Berry. I think I just liked the name and mentioned it to DH, when he said he liked it I just went with it. He turned down almost every girl name I came up with before Hallie.
I do like Hallie, but I don't like that everytime someone hears it they think of Halle Berry. To me it seems like a nick name, sort of like Allie short for Allison...
I'm having second thoughts because I really cannot picture the baby named Hallie. Also, I really like very feminine names.. and Hallie doesn't seem all that feminine to me.
I like the idea of going to the hospital with a few names picked out and then seeing what she looks like. (If she's even a she, we are still team green)
I love Isla Mae!
partial molar pregnancy : bfp 6.28.10, d/c 8.17.10, 7 rounds methotrexate, cleared 7.1.11
alexander patrick : bfp 1.16.12, born 9.20.12 @ 39w1d, 7 lbs./11 oz./22 in.
scarlett irene elizabeth : bfp 5.24.13, born 2.3.14 @ 41w2d, 7 lbs./13 oz./19 in.
Ah, then the Halle/Hailey pronunciation would be another reason to switch then
Good Luck! MH and I are just starting to agree on a few. Seems like with my DD1 we didn't have all these issues finding a name we liked.

Me too! Very pretty and feminine
I like Amelia Lynn & Isla Mae.
What about getting creative and naming her Maelyn Rose or something like that? It would honor your mother, grandmother and your father.
Good luck! I'm sure whatever you choose will be perfect.
I like Lila, Amelia, Lorelei, Juliana and Eden all much better than Hallie.
Not into Isla or Aubrey.
I like Eden Marie. The rest are NMS.
I like Lila, Liana, Juliana, Isla and Eden but NONE of them w/ the mn Mae. I strongly dislike that name.
Of the combos you have listed, I guess I'd chose Eden Marie.
