When did you remove your head support insert from teh carseat?

I tried last month, and DD was not happy.  I put it back in.

The insert for the Chicco infant seat said 11 pounds, I believe.  Check your manual.

I just did it about a week ago.  DD turned 4 months on Monday.

^1MusicMaker ~ that 11lbs is for the newborn insert that they sit on. the manual says you can leave the head support as long as you want.

 

we still have ours in.  he almost always falls asleep in the car and definitely needs it

Right after he turned 3 months. It was getting to where he would pull at it, so I figured he wanted it out and he has been good since.

2 months?  I've got a big baby, though.  There should be a weight recommendation on your carseat/in the paperwork for removing newborn inserts.

I think around 4 months. I forget. It was getting hard to fit her into the carseat with it there so we took it out. She's much more comfy now.

He was too crowded in the chicco carseat around 2 months.  He was happier when it came out.

2 months I think? He HATED it. He was a much happier baby without it.

We did about a week ago...DD doesn't seem to mind. She'll be 4 months tomorrow.
