congestion?

my little man sounds like he is congested is it normal for them to sound like this..or could this be a cold? its not all the time though..just every so often throughout the day. help! thanks in advance

my first two kids didn't have this but this little guys does. our ped wants us to use nasal saline (it is less than $2 at walmart) at every diaper change. this will keep the mucos on the thin side and go down easier.

While it is normal, DS was getting so congested that he was gagging and choking on his own mucus. After doing some research, we bought a NoseFrida, and I am so glad we did. You should see the size of the boogers I've gotten out of his nose with that thing!

DD has got a cold it seems (DH and I have both been sick)   She has been doing the gagging too and a lot of coughing and terribly congested.  I ordered the NoseFrida from Amazon... Wednesday can't get here soon enough.  For now the bulb syringe & humidifier is what we're doing...
