Middle name for Marina?

I know I know most of you hate this name but it has a lot of special meaning to my FI and I. We like somewhat unusual names and not on the top 100! My FI loves Marina Skye but like it has been said on here it sounds like a bad romance novel and I cant get over it!! Any suggestions?!?

Last name sounds like Mayler

    I think a short MN would be best, but Marina Skye does sound awful. It reminds me of either the trashy romance novel or a bad perfume.

    Marina Lucy

    Marina Anne

    Marina Elise

    Marina Danielle 

    ETA: Oh! And I meant to tell you that I really like Marina. I think it is a lovely choice.

    I can't think of anything brilliant for MN suggestions right now, but "Marina Skye" sounds waaaay too hippie/nature-loving. I picture a sunset over a marina.

    We are both born and raised in FL. He is very beachy and I have a very beachy/hippy style haha. But even I agree that Marina Skye is just toooooo mmmuuuccchhhhh lol

    Marina is on our short list. We're thinking of pairing it with Pilar. But we're not TTC, we might never have another girl, and we have a few other names on our list, so I don't feel proprietary about Marina Pilar.

    I personally like Marina Skye, but if you can't get over the whole "bad romance novel" theory, I like Marina Isabelle.

    I have no mn insight here, except to say maybe something that's just one syllable. But I LOVE the name Marina. Pretty and not common.

    I love Marina!  The only thing is my DH's family owns a marina that called ___last name___ Marina and if we had a DD named Marina and her name was listed by last name first it would be the same as the business!  I can't do that! (I also have a niece named Marin so too close!)

    I like the name Marina. It is popular where I am coming from (a slavic country), but it not here in U.S. of course.

    I'm so glad this is posted today.  Marina is our baby girl name and we just found out were having a girl today!  Here are some middle names that we're considering, but we haven't really found "the one" yet.  I love the name Marina, obviously, and it goes well with our last name since it is slavic. 

     Marina Eve - Front runner for awhile, but it seemed a little hippy to me. I think Marina needs something more grounded to round it out.

    Marina Natalie

    Marina Claire

    Marina Leigh - This is out because Leigh is my name, but I thought it went well.  

    Marina Lillian - This is out because my niece and cat are named Lilly, but again, I thought it went well.
