1st Trimester

Boobs no longer full, heavy or sore... I'm worried!

I am 6w and 3d pregnant today. Yesterday I spotted pink a few time, about a teaspoon in the am, then just when wiping a few times during the day. Nothing today and no cramping or bright red blood. I noticed that my boobs are not looking full and heavy like they did up until a few days ago, not as sore either, only around nipples. Is this normal? Why would they stop being so full and heavy feeling? I don't think I miscarried as there was only 1 day of slight bleeding and no cramps. Any ideas?

  • Try not to read too much into it. Your hormones are always changing during a pg. Mine are still full looking, but not sore to the touch anymore. I don't remember my boobs doing ANYTHING with my first pregnancy and that went just fine.

  • Welcome to the roller coaster that is pregnancy!  You'll experience many things you never imagined over the next 36 weeks!  And things are constantly changing.  Don't read too much into what your boobs are doing right now.  I recommend Your Pregnancy Week by Week.  Every week my husband and I would read it and marvel at what was happening to the baby and to my body.  Good luck on your journey, it is truly amazing!

  • I know its hard not to worry, but there are days that I feel perfectly fine. Then there are days that I feel awful with every symptom in the book. I have had no spotting, bleeding or majorly painful cramping. As far as I know everything is fine until the doctor says otherwise.

Try not to freak yourself out, but I know its hard. I keep repeating to myself when I feel anxious that to the best of my knowledge that I am pregnant right now. The best to you. Please try not to make yourself sick with worry.

  • Try not to worry. My breasts are finally not so sore this last week. Throughout your pregnancy, your breasts will be super sore in the beginning, then they'll be much more tame for the rest, then you'll give birth and then a few days later, they'll be full of milk and swollen again. I'm sure you're OK. Try not to stress. If you're still worried, talk to your doctor. :)

  • Hello...lurking from 3-6...I was the same way. Sometimes my boobs would hurt like no other and sometimes they didn't hurt at all and I also worried. Just hormonal fluctuations I think. Your body is working so hard right now to make that baby that lots of crazy things can happen to you. Just take it easy sister.

  • Also I had a  normal and healthy pregnancy. Carried him until 41 weeks and then was induced.
