sitting on our front porch last night when hubby got home from visiting me at the hospital!  He sent me an excited text message but didn't bother to open them to see who they were from until much later.  It was driving me crazy, but then again, no one other than family would do that, right?  I had been hinting to my parents and in-laws for weeks that if any family members were asking about big items on our list, to suggest buying a carrier.  It turns out they were from my college roommate and her fiance!

As a little background, we did not have a baby shower because of best rest starting at 24 weeks and distance from our closest friends and family, so it wasn't like she was responding to a shower invite.  And it isn't like we talk on the phone so that she would know what I was dreaming about.  She was just being so ... nice.  I am really happy to have the carriers, but even happier to have such a thoughtful friend.  I am so blessed.
