Update to worried about LO...bad news.

Hi all,

So I wrote yesterday that I was having some spotting. It continued last night and I went to ER. It turns out I had a molar pregnancy. I've already had my D&C.

I'm so so devastated. Not only have I lost my baby, but I also now have to get follow up for the next 6-7 months to ensure that the mole doesn't recur. I really don't want to have to get chemo. :-(

Anyway, you guys were a great birth board and I'm happy that I got to be a part of it for a while. Thank you for all your T&P's yesterday.

I wish you all September take-home babies.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad, however, that they caught the molar pregnancy before it caused you serious harm and that they are being proactive in making sure it doesn't recur. I hope it stays away and you have a healthy pregnancy very soon.
