What are some of your favorite go-to family dinners that you would love to have more often, but don't have the time to prepare? If someone were to make you a meal for your family, and all you had to do was pop it in the oven, heat it on the stove, or dump it in a crockpot, what kinds of menu items would you like to have?
Re: NMR: Food/Dinner Question
It is so funny that you posted this...I was just thinking last night that we need to do a recipe exchange on here! I am always running out of ideas and feel like I am making the same things over and over.
I try to use my slow-cooker once a week. This week I put a whole Purdue Oven Stuffer Roaster in there with some lemons and fresh rosemary. We can make a couple dinners out of that during the week by just adding a different side or even just making sandwiches.
I made a Turkey Shepard's pie last week and it was really good. I subbed ground turkey for the ground beef for and chicken broth for the beef broth. And I doubled it so we got dinner and leftovers out of it. And my DH ate it for lunch.
Meatloaf. We've been eating a lot of meatloaf.
