How many of you go to the bathroom with the door open?!?!

I do so I can hear LO. HAHA!

Our dog has become use to it too.... She comes in and just looks at me like watcha doing there?

  • I do unless DH is home then I use it as "me" time. I've also peed with LO on the boob during a 2 am feeding because I couldn't hold it and he was screaming.

Unless there are guests or DS#1 is sleeping next door, always.

Pretty much... I also have cats who can't stand to be on the other side of a closed door... not when they know one of their people is behind it. ;)

  • During the day, when nobody else is home, i totally keep the door open. When it's just DH and I at home with the kids, I probably close it half-way - UNLESS I gotta go #2 - then I close it all the way and lock it! LOL!
  • yup even when SO is home it is open

when we have guests though obv its closed :)

  • Haha me too unless I have company over obv! How old does LO have to be before I shut it when home with her? Haha!

  • I always have! I have 4 sisters and we were always getting ready in the bathroom, while the other was on the toilet. Then I met DH, we moved in together and I just kind of started leaving it open once I got comfortable with him. Then we both started leaving it open! When they were building our house, the carpenter said, "the only thing we have left to do is put the locks on the bathroom doors" and me and DH at the same time said, "don't even bother!" haha!

  • Yep. My dog comes in and hangs out with me, too. Tongue Tied

For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

    Haha! Niiiice!

  • Sure do, as long as no one else is home. When I had my cats they would come in and jump on my lap like I was on the couch, lol.

    Oh Lord!!! LOL!

  • I kind of have to! Even before the baby, I did because I have a very needy parrot who has a panic attack if i close doors in between the two of us :D

  • n the 10yrs that MH and I have been together we have never closed the door unless we have guests over. or unless there is going to be a smell that could kill you.

  • Yup... been doing it for years. (My oldest is 4yrs) I only close the door when we have guests over. My kids are fighting all the time and I need to be able to shout at them to knock it off while I'm on the john.

  • I do! I even have DS's swing (I put him in it when I have to go) placed so I can see it from the downstairs bathroom. (I obviously only do this when no one else is here)

  • I do!
TTC #1 w/ endo since Sept 2005. After many losses, a lap, tons of meds and tons of testing and, one failed IVF cycle, we were blown away with a surprise, sticky BFP...it's a girl!!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers
  • I do! It's pointless to close it.  My dog either walks into it trying to push it open and whines to come in or DH just opens it and comes in.  He even figured out how to get it open if I lock it.

  • I've gone with LO in my arms... yeah. I've had constipation issues since delivering, so I'm on meds that make the urge just hit me all of a sudden. Sometimes I don't even have time to put him down somewhere safe, so I just run with him in my arms.
