9 week growth spurt?...

I didn't think there was a 9 week growth spurt, but now I'm not so sure...

Last night, Aaron nursed on both sides for a good 1/2 hour then was still acting hungry. I gave him 4 ounces, and he was still acting hungry, so I kept adding an ounce at a time and he took 4 more, then nursed again! He also was super fussy and wouldn't nap at all.

Tonight, same thing - acting super hungry after nursing and took an additional 5 ounces after nursing for a 1/2 hour. (I know I do not have a supply issue because he burped 3 times during the feeding and had milk dripping down his chin each time we stopped to burp.) Again, he wouldn't nap all day and was super fussy.

Anyone else have a growth spurt at 9 weeks?

Yeah I'm pretty sure we had a growth spurt halfway through DS's 9th week. He was super cranky and wanting to eat every 2 hours. Which is weird since this is the first "typical" growth spurt he's ever had, it has always just been consistent growing.

Yeap DD went back to waking every 2/3 hours to eat last week. Thankfuly I think its over.

There is a growth spurt around 10 weeks, but again, babies aren't robots, so LO is probably spurting a little early:)
