how many ozs should a 12 wk old be drinking daily

When my LO was that size (and now actually) she drinks about 25-30 oz per day.  We make 5 oz bottles and she usually eats about 6 times.

Same here. 5oz bottles every 3-4 hours with him going 7-8 hours at night without.

my LO is 11 weeks and drinks pumped milk about 6 or 7 times a day....and we use the 4 oz bottles still...but its filled to the very top....i bought a couple 8 oz bottles for now because i think here soon we'll be moving to 5 or 6 oz per feeding....his pedi gives you a handout they type up on what to expect until his next appt and our current handout until we go back @ 4 months says they should be drinking 4-6 oz per bottle

Formula. Thanks everyone for the input. I just want to make sure we aren't overdoing it, but i figure if shes not hungry she wont eat or fuss to eat. She was doing 4 oz. every 3-4 hours, with a 7-8 hr. stretch at night. but she was always seeming like she was still hungry so we are upping it to 5 oz. Shes at my inlaws today though and they said they gave her 5 oz. and she seemed hungry again 3 hours later. Just wanted to be sure it wasn't too much too soon.

i dont think your overdoing it.....we feed on demand but is usually every 3 hrs....but this morning i feed him twice in 2 hrs...one 4 oz bottle & the other was about 3 oz...i just think they may be hungrier more days then others...and now their becoming more active they;ll burn more calories
