I got my first set today and will get my second tomorrow! This set is a "boy" set and I got 3 grasshopper, 3 twilight, 5 ribbit and 1 moonbeam.
1 ribbit has a rise snap pulled through, so I think I'll have to trash
it. Around 50% of the landing strips are fuzzy and the other 50% are
fuzzy and fraying. I was planning on snap converting anyway, so this
isn't a huge deal. They are all still very usable. All the elastic
looks really good (score!) and most of the insides are still fairly nice
looking. There is one that has extremely light staining and one that
is very dingy.
Over all, it was totally worth $24! All but one are completely usable as-is, just not pretty!
TTC #1 since June 2009: irregular cycles
BFP 1/20/10, EDD 9/28/10, born 10/5/10
TTC #2 since Nov 2011:
BFP 2/8/12, MC @ 5 weeks; BFP 3/22/12, MC @ 5 1/2 weeks; BFP 9/10/12, MC @ 6 weeks
Started seeing RE Nov 2012. Chromosomal test and all other tests came back "normal". Unexplained MCs. Found mild hytpothyroidism.
Two unmedicated cycles, both BFNs.
First medicated cycle (clomid, ovidrel) 1/23/13. Low progesterone found during 9DPO P4 test = 7.6. Put on prometrium supplements.
I got the "girl" set - I got 2 clementines, 3 whites, 1 ribbit, 2 zinnia, 3 blossom, and a yellow. 4 have great elastic, the others I will be replacing the elastic on. Those four with good elastic also have okay velcro - so I'm leaving it as is, a few of the pinks are in great shape, but just a little stain on the PUL. The velcro tabs are almost all curling a little, but the hook part is in great shape - I used my seam ripper to clean out all the fuzz. I'll be replacing a lot of laundry tabs, though.
The front landing strip is pretty fuzzy in most of them. I emailed bumgenius to see what could be done about that.
I'm glad I bought the repair kits! It'll make it go soo much easier.

Where are these "last chance" BG? From cottonbabies.com? I can't find anything about it.
Is it the BG OS 3.0?

They are already sold out! I think they sold in less than 8 hours.
Have you thought about snap converting?
