Anyone know what to do about Candida?

I seem to have overgrown yeast in my body, my ear canals, and all the parts downstairs itch like crazy (to where everything bleeds) it took my two years to figure out it's all related.

I'm trying Candistroy, but it doesn't seem to be working.  I'm not at the Probiotic pills yet.

Eat yogurt, and the probiotics should help, too.  I'd talk to a naturopath to come up with a good plan of attack.  You may also want to talk to your physician b/c i think a systemic issue can be a sign of other problems (like compromised immune system).  Also look into dietary changes that could help.

My cousin struggles with yeast and is supposed to follow a strict diet to try to kill off the yeast.  You're saying this has been a long-term problem, right? Or did you just develop it since you were pregnant?

Dis your doctor not give you abything?? There are diets that can help. Google it and you'll find lots of details. It will involve cutting out sugar in particular. I hope you get it under control.

I went to an ENT yesterday, but all he wanted to do was put the voilet stuff (like for thrush) in my ear.  He had never even heard of it for thrush!

I told him it was in my whole body (this the itching of other bodily fluids) but he dismissed it - only caring about my ears.

Go to your regular doc and get a prescription for diflucan.  Wash everything that touches your body in hot water with bleach, especially towels and sheets and clothing that covers the affected parts.  Stop eating sugar and flour.wet

I had to be on probiotic pills for a long time because of recurring yeast infections. They really sucked, but the pills helped a LOT. GL and I hope things get better soon!
