Made 1st appt. with endrocronologist?

What should I expect??  I have gone through 3 rounds of 100 mg clomid and have had an HSG done which found my tubes to be clear.  What was your action plan??  I know we are all different, but it helps to hear what others have gone through!

Hopefully you made it with the Reproductive kind since there are general endocrinoligists that deal with none infertility things.

Did you have other testing done besides the HSG? If not, your Dr will have you get cd3 bloodwork drawn and SA for your H (they may have you redo this as well since some time may have passed since your first one and some REs like to use there own lad)

Anyway you will go in they will go over a ton of medical history for both you and H and family stuff as well. If you still need more testing they will that up (most are cycle day specific) and perhaps an ultrasound that day. They will go over their clinic practices and what you are comfortable with as far as how far you want to go. Once all the info is back you will go in a review everything and establish a plan.

My RE had me skip clomid altogether and we jumped right into injectable IUIs - she suggested we do three rounds of that and then move on to IVF. Because of my age (36), but the unexplained Dx  she is a bit more agressive with how fast we are moving on.

The first appointment he will most likely go over your file and possibly do a ultrasound and b/w that day and will order a SA. My RE also did an e-tegrity biopsy but I know most RE's do not do them. GL
