DH and I were talking to her and playing with her while getting her dressed for bed tonight. The changing table is just about her favorite place in the world! She was all smiles and happy pants (hope she isn't the only LO that pants), then all of a sudden she let out this huge belly laugh! I may or may not have screamed a little and slapped DH on the arm while jumping back from the changing table. This scared the smiles right out of the poor girl and she hasn't smiled since! Instead, she just makes this face at me. oops!! Let's hope her smiles come back soon!
Anyone else gotten a true belly laugh yet??
Re: so...my child may never laugh again!
I get them from LO frequently
lol, unlike you though, I instantly laugh at him. LO thinks it's funny.
Haha, how dare you get so excited?? Lol. I'm sure she'll forget all about it by tomorrow and give you another one
I haven't gotten a belly laugh yet. But I did get a really funny one this morning. I went to change her at 3am, so I took off her diaper and let her bum dry for a minute. She threw her legs up in the air, let out 2 huge farts and then laughed. Haha, she is SO not a lady.
Awww I'm sure she'll laugh again! Alec is starting to laugh, but not regularly yet. It got me to thinking about when I was waiting on him to smile regularly. It seems like so long ago!
haha! Genna has klass!!
Haha, this sounds like my little lady! I have this pic from the other day of her giving a big smile after a massive poo-splosion.
A let out one really good belly laugh last week in her sleep but none while she's been awake yet. She does this little like sigh-laugh all the time. I'm hoping belly laughs come soon!
Yep! We got our first one Sunday. He was screaming his head off, stopped, looked at me....laughed his azz off...stopped...and proceeded to scream his head off again.
I was so confused.
No true belly laughs yet, just lots of squeals. But M's most favorite place is his changing table too! What is up with that? If he is fussy I just set him up there and he starts smiling and talking. The strangest thing.

AAAhhh that's so cute!!! My LO has chuckled a few times but I haven't heard a belly laugh yet. DH says he has... The way you told that story is hilarious. She'll forget about your reaction though; no worries.
My LO loves being changed also. We don't have a changing table but when she sees me with a diaper she gets all happy.
