Extremely Dry Eyes: Anyone Else?

So I think that is what is going on ...

I wear contacts regularly, but in the last couple of weeks, I can't wear them more than one day in a row or they get all crazy bloodshot ... I am thinking it is just that they are really dry and irritated

I know it isn't an infection of some sort, I took a complete break for several weeks (totally cleared) and replaced contacts, lenses, and my solution.

Anyone else?  Or alternately, anyone have other ideas?

This happened throughout my pregnancy with Sarah, and while I was breastfeeding.  Both demand a lot of fluid from you, hence why your eyes feel dry.  My optometrist said it was normal.  I swear some days it was like I had to peel my contacts off my eyes.  Uncool.

yes! I didn't correlate it pregnancy at all though! I take my contacts out the second I get home these days it is so bad, but I never had issues like this before (been wearing them a good 13 years). I cannot work on my computer at work with my glasses on or I get headaches so I deal with the dryness and use drops throughout the day. very annoying

Me too. I never had problems with dry eyes before pregnancy. It's driving me nuts!
